The Orphanage

You know that the girls' orphanage that used to be located on this spot has been empty for years. You know there is no one left and yet you feel the shivers go down your back as you push open the old oak front door. The cobwebs along the yellowed walls are proof that nobody has been in here for a long time and yet it sometimes seems as if you hear something. A girl's voice somewhere in the distance. The floor creaks under your feet with every step as if to say, “Get out of here.” Suddenly the radio switches on ...
